Cascades Group has received five nominations across five categories at the 2012 Pulp & Paper International (‘PPI’) Awards.

3. Efficiency Improvements of the Year: Cascades-Sonoco, Birmingham Mill, USA
4. Innovative Products- Graphic Papers: Cascades Fine Papers Group, Canada - Checksecur Platinum Enviro™
5. Water Efficiency: Cascades Candiac Mill, Canada

Launched in 2009, the PPI Awards are the only global awards dedicated to recognizing the achievements of companies, mills and individuals in the pulp and paper industry. The final winners will be announced and will receive their trophy at the PPI Awards 2012 dinner and awards ceremony on Monday, November 12, in Brussels, Belgium.
